Question
Hi; Can you tell me why my left eye gets extremely red in the inside corner? There is a red rectangle, not the whole inside corner. The rectangle fills the normally white area, and goes from the center of the pupil to the inside corner, towards the nose, uninterrupted. It does not hurt, and vision is not affected. It is not my dominant eye either, so I don't think its fatigue? Do you think its to week?
Answer
Hi Darick,
It is hard to tell from the description what is going on. It is easy to say that that part of the eye is inflamed. It is hard to say why. It may be dryness or irritation. I'm glad you don't have symptoms but you need to have an eye doctor look into it. So use some simple lubricating eye drops frequently to rule out simple dryness and see an eye doctor if it doesn't improve.
