Dear Doctor,
I have three dark spots in the iris of my eye (green eyes). They haven't always been there actually they just started showing up about 4 years ago. I am a little concerned as my grandmother had ocular melanoma. Do I have reason for concern?

Dear Angel,
It is always to get such things checked by an expert (eye doctor) esp since you have a medical family history.
However, some pigments are natural changes in the eye, but since I am sure that this is worrying you, best would be to get this examined by a professional.
