Computer vision

Question
My newest rx reads od +1.75 -50 x70 and os +1.75-75x152   and +2.50 add ou.  I am a 73 year old pharmacist.  The glasses that were made work well when driving and reading small print. I am having trouble viewing the computer (neck strain) and the rx's seem a little blurred.  Can I change these numbers to create a top part that would read computer screen and a bottom part that can read the small print.   Thank you.   Allen

Answer
Dear Allen,

Instead of that make a separate pair for your computer use which also takes into consideration some amount of reading ability. Another one which takes care for while driving would be good.

Verifocals are expensive but help adjust in one frame, prescription of far intermediate and near.

The optometrist helps you with any of the above.

Hope this helps,
