My contact strength is -3.00 in both eyes. What is my vision on the 20/20 scale?
Answer
There is no exact correlation between the strength of your contact lenses and your visual acuity on the 20/20 scale. This is because some people can interpret a blur better than others, and some will try harder than others to read the lines.
However, a very rough guess at your acuity with three diopters of myopia is about 20/400 in each eye. The best way to find out for sure though is to merely ask your eye doctor to test your acuity with your contact lenses off at your next exam.
