Question
Hello: I am 60 years old and short sighted and get my eyes examined every year by an opthalmologist.I developed a floater in my right eye which I find annoying, but the opthalmologist couldn't find anything wrong. Can anything be done about floaters? Would you recommend laser treatment?
Thanks
Answer
Dear Michael,
Lasers will not help and any other procedure is very invasive which involves a major surgery, hence recommended only in those wherein the floater deteriorates their vision a lot.
You may read more about this on www.shroffeye.org including tips how to reduce them from interfering with your vision.
Hope this helps,
