my question is that how we can induce myopia in an white rats or rabbits for experiments??
and what if mitomycin C is not used during refractive surgery??would that help from corneal haze??
Answer
Mitomycin only helps if the procedure is like that of EpiLASIK where the epithelium is removed and the first layer of the cornea is treated in cases with high numbers. The mitomycin then reduces the corneal haze.
Otherwise it is not indicated.
Rabbits / rats have not been researched on by me so have no experience with the same.
