Question
Hello
I am Roohollah, 28 years old.
I already received your reply to my question.
thanks for your answer.
You wanted me to say my diagnosis about my macula problem. Although I couldn't understand it well, last expert that I met told me that it could be a "Coatex" or something like that. I do not know what it means, but I know that this problem formed from coating my macula area by bleeding of tiny veins of macula. I have my macula angiography photos. If these photoes can help you to diagnose my problem, I can send it to you by email.
However, I am very thankful for your attention to my case.
yours sincerely
Roohollah
Answer
Coatex is not a word I am familiar with. But if you have had bleeding of the tiny blood vessels of the macula, and the macula is damaged, there is no known way to restore the vision you have lost. The main thing would be to understand what caused it, and how to prevent it from bleeding any further, or in the other eye. This is something the doctors you are working with would be best able to answer, as they can examine the state of your general health and may know why something like that would happen. Surely, it is not common in someone so young.
I am sorry for the vision you have lost and share your concern for the future of your vision. But especially as I am not a retinal specialist, I am not able to give specific advice regarding the various macula treatments available. But I can assure you none of them can actually restore vision to a damaged macula.
