notice a mucus film on my eyeball tried to move it withfinger and washed with water it want move . why want it go away? what causes it?

Dear Sharon,
If this is truly mucus, it will go with a wash or even blinking. Safe ver the counter eye drops which lubricate the eyes should also work like Refresh tears, Natural Tears etc.
However, if it looks like a film, it could be a thin layer growing on the surface, this will need an examination.
Please then visit an eye centre for the check up.
