BlurryGhosting visionTightness in forhead

Question
Hello,  for the past three months I have had some constant issues with my vision.  I have a tight forehead pressure that almost has a stinging situation to it.  This is accompanied by ghosting and blurry vision. It's much worse at night with the reflections on street signs and roadway marks etc.  My eyes are also sensitive to light with halo's on street lamps and lights like LED are over powering with lines coming out of them. I"ve seen two ophthalmologist, three Neurologist who did MRI's, MRV's, Cat Scans etc and can't find anything.  All my blood work comes back normal.  I've had 20/20 vision my whole life and I can walk around my house in the dark usually which drives my wife crazy. I also have been healthy for the past two years where I haven't had to see a doctor.

Things that happened around the time of the this incident was

* I"m living in a model home that was vacant for two years.  It's a nice house and I can't seem to find anything in it that would cause this. I was living there for over two months before this happened.

* I was a little stressed about the house issue and spending money etc and had some family stuff to work out but over all I"ve been depressed or anything (until this has been going on for three months)

* While walking my dog he lead me through a farm area where my boots became saturated with cow waste.  It was about an hour or so until I could removed the soiled boots and pants.

* Had a really bad allergy week and this started happening, I usually take allergy shots and was off them for 50 days and was told to come in or I would have to go down a bottle.  Went in and got a shot and acouple days later I started to dry up.

When I first noticed the funny head feeling I was spitting allot because of excess saliva and was burping allot.  I also have had geographic tongue the whole three months and currently have it.  I've never had this in my whole life.

Any ideas would be very helpful.  I have an appt with a              Nero-ophthalmologist but it's not for over a month because it was hard to get into.

Thank You,

Ryan

Answer
Hi Ryan,

As the eye doctors have tested you and nothing was found...your eyes seem to be normal.

The nerves in and around the eyes are also shared around the forehead and around sinuses.

So, considering your history, it is a possiblity that this was some kind of migraine where visual disturbances were also there. This could have been related to stress.

It is best to take things easy for a while and seeing the neuro ophthalmologist will also ensure that nothing is being missed and could be stress related symptoms.

Hope this helps,
