I have wavy lines when im reading but only in my right eye,i have been examined at hospital and they have said that there is no problem with my eyesight,so i do not have AMD or a Retina problem,just a little history i recentley had a mastoidectomy and this problem has only been present post op,i would appreciate your comments, many thanks...

Dear Richard,
Please ensure that all checks of the eye incLude tests for the macula like OCT.
The other possibility is to speak to your mastoidectomy surgeon to rule out anything to do with the floor of the orbit as it forms the roof of the mastoid.
An occuloplastic surgeon can check if this is an alignment issue between both eyes.
